What I did
Brand identity, app design, art direction

Agency
MK21

The brief was pretty simple, the project was short and sweet. Produce the visuals for a concept brand named WellTrained for an upcoming pitch. The main focus of this project (currently) was to test whether or not their was an appetite and a market for what this app had to offer.

The first step for me was to come up with a key visual, an idea for what a campaign might look like. Using AI to create images of fitness instructors and equipment floating in the air, paired with the copy ‘taking some much needed weight off your shoulders’. Once that concept was visualised, it was enough to start working out the colour scheme for this thing. The TOV, and look and feel of the brand, and subsequent supporting collateral to begin bringing WellTrained to life.

App design

It wasn’t enough to just create a visual identity for WellTrained, the app was the main selling point and so I needed to come up with a few screens to demonstrate how this app could work in actuality. Taking inspiration from apps such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Google Maps – working out what made them flow so well, and how simple they were to use – I took their approach and applied this to personal trainers.

Trust is a gigantic part of the platform. Making sure everything is as transparent as possible. Users can sort trainers by a variety of different metrics and see their location / distance on a map. Each trainer has their own profile where reviews, information, and contact details are easily accessible.
